The shop is at the heart of Abbotts Ann village life. We open 7 days a week and offer a great selection of local food, fresh bread, milk, essentials, coffee, meal solutions and everyday pick up treats.

Together with the Busy Post Office it is both a vital village service and a well established hub for the community. It has a wonderful volunteer workforce who offer their support under the guidance of a Manager and Deputy Manager.
A position for a Manager has become available and offers a good salary together with 20 days holiday per annum.
We are looking for someone who has retail experience, has good organisational skills and a positive and proactive outlook.
The position is offered on a 20+ hours per week basis with occasional weekend working.

GOODWORTH 2019 PINOT BLEND BRUT

(50% Pinot Noir, 50% Pinot Meunier)

This is a perfect and exact blend between Pinot Noir, chosen for its red fruits aroma, its body, depth of flavour and fullness, and Pinot Meunier, our favourite, for its aromatic sweetness,  a lush fruitiness and the capacity to acquire the roundness of age comparatively rapidly.  

The Pinot Noir grape provides the back-bone of our wine, whilst the Pinot Meunier lends softness and orchard fruit aromas. A beautifully rich golden colour as well as an intense nose with red fruit aromas, such as red cherry, cranberry and redcurrant, are enticing us to take a first sip. A hint of strawberry lingers in the background. A creamy, full mouthfeel contributes to a very long finish. Ideal served on its own as an apéritif or try it alongside a quiche Lorraine or Parma ham.
