New Tables for Outside

I am delighted to say that we finally have a new set of outside tables.

These have been lovingly treated by Dee Howarth who willingly supplied the table cloths and flowers.

Even though they are wooden with chrome edging, Dee took time

to sand down and varnish the wood, enabling them to be more

robust for our great Brittish Weather.

They offer a more comfortable setting for any visitor, whether you

are a walker, cyclist or local resident.

Come and enjoy yourselves outside with a fantastic cup of coffee,

or in these sunnier times an ice lolly!

You will always be welcomed.

New In Stock
1. Ethel’s pies, as tried and tested at last years Fete, are now in stock. We have a good selection for you to choose from – Chicken and Ham, Steak and Kidney, Beef
in Guinness and Pork and Mushroom. They can be cooked from frozen and I have it on good authority that they are excellent.

2. Along with a variety of ‘Home made’ cakes, delivered on Tuesdays, Lavender Blue now provide a selection of Quiches (order now ready for the Coronation Picnic).

3. Have you noticed that the morning bakers are now baking Beef Pasties (£2) and sausage Rolls (2 for £1). These early morning volunteers are saints. Many thanks all.

4. Goodworth English Sparkling Classic Blend BRUT is proving to be very popular. It would make an excellent Easter gift, or why not just treat yourself.

HELP WANTED
We need a volunteer cleaner, just a couple of hours a week, and a Marketing and Media volunteer. If you can help with either please speak with Julia.
